Drawing and Painting from plants, flowers and trees, is the focus of this class. Using a variety of mediums, starting with charcoal, then pen and ink, colored pencil, watercolor and any other mediums you wish to explore, we will practice seeing and translating forms from the plant kingdom into works of art. There is an emphasis on understanding what makes a plant or floral image seem alive and natural. Beginners welcome.  Individual attention is given. Materials discussed in first class meeting. Bring 18 x 24 newsprint. Field trips are possible.
